Some installations, such as horticulture, use our filters, first flush solution, and silt traps to ensure water flowing into the tank is clear of major dirt particles.
This is a filter device that is set upstream of a tank system and its purpose is to prevent any kind of leaves, silt, soil, sediment, metals or debris from entering the rainwater storage system by holding the storm water in the trap for some time and allowing these unwanted materials to settle to the bottom of the basket and separate from the water.
All these sediments mentioned above should not be allowed to flow into the tank system as they will cause damage to it, reduce its sustainability. It collects these materials in a basket at the bottom of the basin and allows the filtered water to carry on through to your storage system. This basket can of course be easily removed and put back into place when cleaning is required. It will prevent 99% of all sediment from entering your storage systems.
This product is made of PE material, with built-in stainless steel filter net and non- woven fabric, the mesh size is only 2mm, which can intercept large garbage and leaves, sand, silt, etc. The basket has a handle, which enable us easily take the sand and garbage out from it, thus effectively protect the rest of devices to ensure them work perfectly.
This device is equipped with a part which we can adjust it height, so it can be increased its height according to the depth of the part buried underground. After the pipe is connected, it can be installed directly and then backfill with soil. There shall be a top cover of the device that can be opened to check inside and clean up.
Silt Trap

Installed after the Silt trap, the firs flush solution actively filters the flow of water. The initial 2-5mm of rain commonly brings a lot of airborne particles with it, such as dust, but also metals i.e. pollutants.
The First flush uses gravity and a floater which diverts the initial volume of polluted water to the drain, allow the rest of the clean water to flow into the tank.
First Flush

Leveraging gravity, the Rainmine automatic filter filters out course and fine pollutants in the water. The fulter consists of a coarse net filter, filtering material that absorbs impurities, and a fine filter. Cleaning is simply done by taking out the holder and rinsing it with the filters and filter material.
The Fine filter is up to 1mm and the unit is commonly installed after the Rainmine SiltTrap and Rainmine First Flush units. It can be installed with an automatic discharge or a clean-up well, which ever is required.
Automatic Filter

Leveraging gravity, the Rainmine automatic filter filters out course and fine pollutants in the water. The fulter consists of a coarse net filter, filtering material that absorbs impurities, and a fine filter. Cleaning is simply done by taking out the holder and rinsing it with the filters and filter material.
The Fine filter is up to 1mm and the unit is commonly installed after the Rainmine Stil Trap and Rainmine First Flush units. It can be installed with an automatic discharge or a clean-up well, which ever is required.
